Auger
Maintenance & Repair

Straight, true and repeatable holes of consistent depth are much harder to achieve than one might think!  Most projects will require several-to-many such holes, and without the right tools and knowledge, it can be a frustrating  experience!

Fortunately there are a number of different sized augers that can help you achieve your digging goals!  Use the tools to get you the right hole, with minimal effort and maximal results.   There are larger, tractor mounted augers, as well as smaller, hand-held ones that can be used with a 1/2″ and 3/8″ corded or cordless drills.

So, what kind of jobs can you use the hand-held auger for, you ask?  The obvious choices include gardening, such as planting bulbs, seedlings, etc.  There are so many uses for hand-held augers.

How about tackling a more ambitious project, like installing install PVC sprinkler lines under your sidewalks or patio stones?  Want to get insecticide and termite treatments down deep to really kill off the threats?  An auger on-hand will make these projects a lot easier to start and complete!  Hydrating, aerating and fertilizing trees and shrubs, as well as weeding are all faster when using a hand-held auger as well.

And augers are super useful all year long! Winter sports such as ice fishing are significantly more enjoyable  when you start fishing minutes after getting to the lake, rather than working up a sweat manually hacking a hole is several thick feet of ice!

And just like most activities, the more the merrier!  Bring your friends and family along!  With a power auger you’ll have a hole for each one in double quick time.  Leaving a good distance betwen holes help reduce line taggles and losing that fish tale!

Of course, with all this activity your augers are likely to need some TLC.  Damaged auger tips, broken teeth, engine problems, we’ve seen and dealth with it all.  Bring us your augers for a fix, or some seasonal care.  We want to help you get more work done, and have more fun!
